  1. This is what i found on the Crisco website (and it is also on the package):

    With 50% less saturated fat than butter and 0g of trans fats per serving, Crisco All-Vegetable Shortening is great for baking and frying.
    (and fisting!)

  2. A party visitor mentioned Crisco is high in unhealthy saturated fats which enter the body through the intestines. So it can even make you fat. And you should be aware of the date of use.

    • agree , people put anything in their ass from Hand cream to hydrogenated fat (chemically modified fat like crisco) thinking internal tissue are like skin. they are not: they absorb averything, in that case you even by pass the digestive track ,and suaturated fat goes directly into the blood stream
